What this story needs is dinosaurs. The question is, which dinosaur? Tyrannosaurus rex and raptors are way overdone. Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus (formerly known as Brontosaurus, until they discovered they had the wrong head) are too common, and most people get Pteranodons and Pterodactyls too easily confused (and besides, they’re not dinosaurs). Maybe Glyphodon — no, wait, that’s an ancient mammal — though it did look like an Ankylosaurus. Has anyone noticed there are a lot of “Y’s” in the names of ancient…
