You’re the only person I know who would call someone who favors free trade a leftist. Your protectionism is historically leftist. And that protectionism is historically racist. Your economics is what would support a powerful and unlimited central government. I would eliminate literally every single aspect of the government involved in economic policy, including the Fed, which distorts the money supply, creates booms and busts, and releases misleading reports that support its continued existence and doesn’t take any of the elements I mentioned into consideration.
